INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR)

1. Nature of the data. Purposes of processing.

We will process the personal data you provide for the following purposes:

- To enable registration on the Website and access to services reserved for registered users.

- To allow the proper performance of transactions related to online purchases and thus the correct and timely fulfilment of obligations arising from the contractual relationship with the user, together with the associated administrative and legal requirements.

- To respond to user enquiries by email or through the WhatsApp chat service available on the Website.

- For administrative and accounting purposes related to Website registration and online purchases, and to comply with legal obligations.

- With your consent, to send newsletters, carry out market research, including surveys of user satisfaction, and send advertising material concerning our products and/or services and/or those of third parties, using automated systems such as email, fax, SMS or MMS, or traditional methods such as postal mail or telephone.

Methods of processing

Users’ personal data will mainly be processed using electronic or otherwise automated means, with methods and tools suitable to ensure its security and confidentiality in accordance with the GDPR. In particular, all technical, IT, organisational, logistical and procedural security measures will be adopted to guarantee the minimum level of data protection required by law. Access will be limited to persons authorised to process the data by the data controller or by any processors appointed by the controller.

The information collected and the processing methods will be relevant and not excessive in relation to the types of services provided.

Data will also be managed and protected in environments where access is constantly monitored.

Credit card data

To pay by credit card on the Website, you must enter confidential credit card details (card number, cardholder, expiry date and security codes). These details will be collected by the payment service provider acting as an independent data controller, without passing through our server; we therefore do not process this data in any way. Registered Website users may request through the Website that these details be saved, but they will be stored directly by the payment service provider and will not be collected by us.

Browsing

You can access the Website without being asked to provide personal data. However, during their normal operation, the computer systems and software used to operate the Website collect certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but its very nature means that processing or combining it could make it possible to identify the user.

This category includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the Website, the URL addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file returned, etc. This data is used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on use of the Website (in particular, the number of visits) and to check its correct operation, and is deleted immediately after processing. This process does not involve the processing of directly identifying information.

3. Provision of data and consequences of withholding consent to processing

Providing data for the purposes described above is entirely optional. However, since this processing is necessary to enable Website registration and the online purchasing service, a refusal to provide the data will make it impossible to register on the Website or complete an online purchase.

4. Scope of data disclosure

The personal data you provide may be disclosed to:

- Employees and/or collaborators carrying out administration, accounting, IT support and logistics activities, acting respectively as processors and persons authorised to process the data.

- Parties managing online payment transactions.

- Public and/or private parties, natural and/or legal persons (legal, administrative and tax advisers), where disclosure is necessary or useful for the proper fulfilment of contractual obligations relating to services provided through the Website or obligations arising from law.

- Freight forwarders and parties responsible for delivering and/or collecting purchased products.

- All parties, including public authorities, entitled to access the data under legislative or administrative provisions.

The personal data you provide in connection with Website registration and/or purchases through the Website will not be publicly disseminated.

5. Data retention

Users’ data will be retained only for the time necessary to ensure the proper provision of the services offered.

If users close their Website account, the data it contains will be retained for administrative purposes for no more than three months, subject to any specific legal obligations concerning retention of accounting records or public security purposes.

To close a personal Website account, users may contact us by email or click the “Delete profile” link on their personal page. In all cases, personal data will be retained and processed for the purposes stated above for the period permitted by law and the requirements of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
